During your stay, you have the unique opportunity to join the local YMCA’s Surf Camp and Lessons, located at the Claire Chapin Epps Family YMCA in Myrtle Beach, SC. Whether you’re a beginner or looking to hone your skills, this program offers something for everyone.
YMCA Surf Camp & Lessons 2024
Join this camp for a summer spent catching waves, learning new skills, and making memories that will last a lifetime. Campers will learn the basics of surfing and spend time in the water with experienced instructors, gaining the confidence to catch their first wave and make friends along the way.
To ensure a safe and fun experience, all staff are waterfront lifeguard certified, and participants must meet a minimum swimming prerequisite prior to camp. Each camper will receive a brightly colored rash guard to wear for the duration of the camp.
